Literally! He came home covered in soot and smelling like he bathed in smoke! He was pretty pleased with himself, so I had to snap a few pictures of his sooty face. It actually doesn't show up all that well in the pictures, but you get the idea.
There was a big barn fire last week in a nearby town, so H'ville was called out to assist. Shawn spent four hours breaking apart burning hay bales and putting out the fires that resulted. I had to wash his work clothes from that day four times before they didn't smell completely like smoke.
